We have worked in a range of contexts, creative and educational; and in a range of countries.
Gilroy Brown and Maurice Coles specialise in this area and over the years have undertaken numerous inspection and reviews of SMSC, and more recently have placed this within the context of Fundamental British Values. The latest OFSTED changes are unequivocal: you cannot be judged as good or outstanding unless you meet stringent criteria in this area. CoED therefore offers a flexible package of review and support which ranges from a one-day health check undertaken by them both, to a negotiated bespoke model that suits your school's needs.

During December 2015, we ran a series of Positive Interfaith Workshops that were delivered with three local schools in Handsworth Wood, to discuss local matters that affect them and why? The schools involved were at Holyhead Academy, Nishkam Primary School and Nishkam Secondary School.
The workshops were funded by the Near Neighbours scheme as a continuation of our local partnership with St Andrews Church.

Sacred Spaces is a creative arts project that engages pupils to explore and learn about local faith spaces. Common features of local faiths are explored during visits, whilst pupils work with artists to develop their individual creative skills.
All our Artists are DBS checked and we are able to incorporate the Arts Award with projects. Contact office@coedfoundation.org.uk to book Sacred Spaces for your school.
